Screen Hdtv What are the dimensions of a 32" HDTV (screen only)?
I don't want the dimensions of the entire TV as that would vary depending on what brand you buy. I just want the length and height of the actual viewable screen.
TV screen measurements are a diagonal measurement.
To get widescreen (16:9) TV dimensions:
Width = Diagonal x 0.87157554
Height = Diagonal x 0.49026124
A 32" widescreen TV has a width of 27.89" and a height of 15.69" for an area of 437.55 square inches.
